Moses was a man of God. He was trained over many years for his work, He was faithful. God and he were so close that it said of him that no one was like him for he knew God face to face. His work was almost flawless, he was humble and obedient. He was very wise and well educated. Today I would think he would have a every degree if he went to coledge. He loved and cared for his people, and there was no question that he functioned as a prophet. He was also slow of speech, and could become angry. All men of God in the bible we see included their weaknesses. He disobeyed in a area important to God , he smote the rock twice which meant spiritually that Christ would be smitten more than once he being the rock of our salvation. Well that caused him to be told he will not be going into the land of promise. Deut. 3:25-26 Though this be sad it is still wonderful the fellowship He and God are having it is very personal. We all should long for this fellowship. I have found that this is very real and is on the increase in my life. Well I have good news for you. After the Lord buries Moses in the ground himself, in a place where he can't be found and worshipped, the story doesn't end. The man of God may have made a mistake-- some ministers make mistakes and we may not know what they are. We don't hear of anyone saying Moses made a mistake so all that he did or taught us was not the truth. Moses exhibits great faith. We wouldn't say his faith message must not be true since he died. Moses legacy remains with us today with a tremendous record of faithfulness. tainted with a mistake he is still a prophet of God just like our Jesus, he is a type Deut. 18:15. In Matt. 17:3-4 Moses was resurected and stands at the side of Jesus. in the transfiguration. we can't wait on him to return again, so we must pray that God raises up prophets in this end time. My understanding is if your called to be a prophet you still have to confess a promise then you are a prophet. meaning you are a prophet by faith, it would be a negative confession to hide it. If you are a prophet then say you are. Same as me saying I am blessed though circumstances are contradictory. love that Hab.3:17.
faith-- forsake all I trust him. Baal-- believe apostacy all lost. bible-- believe in bible life eternal.

My former teacher said a very important thing that I completely understand to be true. He said if any man calls himself to be a minister, if he asks for money he is not called of God. To clarify he may be called but he is not sent. He must first learn what faith is, then he can preach it. Jeremiah said in Jer.17:5 cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his arm. Not only must he walk by faith and trust God alone for finances, but a man who joins with him in ministry is endorcing his lack of faith. We must not tell others of our needs but in prayer alone to God. tell him in secret he will reward openly. He is able to meet every need according to his riches in glory. We will face persecution like Jer. for telling the truth, but I remember Jer. was in the prison and Nebuchadnezzer said go and releace him, for he is for us and not against us. I know we may not always be delivered but we will feel free with Jesus no matter what confinement. I remember the time when I was in a apartment complex. I shared Jesus with a Jewish boy and he asked Jesus in his heart. as soon as we were done I was bombarded by people who took me downstairs to their apartment. They got on the phone to call the police. God intervened and they said somethings wrong on the phone and we can't get through so they let me go.
faith-- forsake all I trust him. Baal-- believe apostacy all lost. bible-- believe in bible life eternal.

Not to 'twist' or take out of 'context' what you said, but I believe that many, many, many of todays 'prophets' have done just that...SAID they are...a prophet...without being called of God. Everywhere you look there are false prophets uttering prophecies concerning the 'church', america, as well as individual prophesies. They're putting on seminars to teach this 'gift', (for a nice fee, of course).
I would agree that a prophet has to act in faith, and I also agree that men make mistakes. But I think the 'call' of God on a person to be a prophet comes with an anointing and doesn't have to be 'worked up'. There is a difference between a prophet of God and a member of the body of Christ with the gift of prophecy. Just as the anointing and calling of an Evangelist is different than our command to go forth and evangelize. We're told to interceed for one another as Christians, but that's not the same as an 'intercessor'.
I believe this, to my knowledge, not one of the people who appear on TBN or so-called christian TV as 'prophets' or 'aposles'...are. And they're telling people exactly what they want to hear...America's best days are yet ahead...They're not. America must decline as fullfillment of God's plan and judgement. This is not a God fearing nation, and it's not the apple of God's eye. The iniquity of America knows no bounds and God WILL judge this nation for her sins. God has always dealt with disobedience, how deceived can people be to think He'll give the U.S.A. a free pass? Pride has blinded the eyes of not only this nation but the institutional church as well.
America's best days are behind her...

Not to mention the taking of the land of the Native Americans and killing them for resisting...They're still considered second class citizens. But don't say anything about the millions of illegals who have poured across the border, who are being given equal rights and privileges.
Or the millions of unborn children who were murdered for convenience sake with the approval of the government.
Yes, America has innocent blood on her hands...a lot!
