This is a highly interesting documentary about the Exodus. Conventional wisdom has it the Exodus occurred in the time of Ramses which is a time I disagree with. If it shifts back to about 1450 BC everything lines up. The filmmaker shows this and shows why. I find stuff like this highly interesting. I'm going with another bro to Egypt Jordan and Israel next month. Following the path of the exodus. Although we're going around the Red Sea not through it. Should be interesting. Anyway I like the video.

Mark, according to critics, you should be able to walk across the "reed sea". lol
Hope you enjoy your trip, I'm going to Jerusalem one day, Jesus has purchased my one way ticket.

Heh Heh We actually ended up going around the Red Sea. Traveled up the coast then transitted through Eliat (Israel) and into Jordan.
Had a funny experience going into Jordan. We had 3 Mennonite couples on the tour. They were part of a small conservative Mennonite denomination out of the states. The women wore a black covering. I can't remember why they said they used a black one. Maybe to differentiate themselves from other groups? I grew up Mennonite and my mother wore one for a lot of years. 1 Cor. 11. If not sure what it is google it. Just a small lace covering like a small hat.
Anyway, we had to go through passport and luggage control into Jordan after transitting Eliat. Everything went well until the agent noticed the black covering on one women's head. He didn't know what it was. Maybe some quirky Jewish thing? Not too good at English so he called in a colleague: who called in a supervisor who call in a superior with someone who spoke English. Eventually they figured out it was just some wacky Christian custom and passed us all through. The woman was a little flustered but laughed about it later.
Incidentally, I am probably the only person in the world who was underwhelmed by Petra. A world-class heritage site. I'm glad I saw it but for me, it didn't live up to its billing. A lot of Christians believe Jews in the trib will find a hiding place there. Not sure what I think about that.
I normally travel on my own outside of a tour. I took this one as I was with someone who couldn't walk very well and it included some sites difficult to get to. The point here is if any one is contemplating a trip to Israel this agency is very good. A Christian company. All the guides were Christian as well. Not necessary but nice. It was an enjoyable trip. All Christians on the bus. Short devotions by a pastor every morning. Real mix of people.
