Zech. 12 says God is going to make Jerusalem (and by extension Israel) a heavy stone around the necks of the world. And is that ever happening.

I get a few substack newsletters. A couple I pay for and some I just take the free stuff. This one is by an Israeli who is extremely knowledgeable. Its also free.

I found his latest note as well as the one further down on "Will America Ever Learn" both highly interesting. If you're interested in keeping up I highly recommend this one.

Some thoughts.

In watching what is going on with Israel it almost like there is an unseen hand coordinating everything behind the scenes. The whole world rising against Israel. It wouldn't be too difficult for us to figure out who that is.

In light of the Ezek.37-38 war of Gog and Magog. It says it will happen in a time of peace. Ezek. 37/11,14 So whatever is going on now it isn't this war. It will be an unexpected invasion at a time of peace. So it is yet to come. I think there is much going on behind the scenes. What is going on in the north of the land for eg. cannot continue indefinitely. My opinion is we will see a more or less ceasefire in the near future. Especially in the north.

As I said before I was planning a trip to Israel for last fall. I would have been there right in the middle of the invasion. I'm still planning to go though. I'm hoping in spite of everything to go this fall. Whether its this year or next year it will be in a time of peace. I would encourage anyone desiring to go to make plans. I could not imagine a spirit filled christian in proper fellowship with the Lord spending sufficient time in prayer getting caught in a dangerous war there.

I read Amir Tsafati telegram channel every day. Its a good way to keep up. He is on the telegram app. It bothers me though to read about terrorists and their leaders getting killed. Maybe glorifying their death is a better way to put it. They deserve it and its good to see them gone. Back on Oct 7 when all this started there was a terrorist camera capturing the sound of one of them as he gurgled out his life. All I could think of as I listened was another person entering eternity and the certainty of judgement. The only reason I'm not there is because Jesus intervened in my life. Israel needs to prosecute this war. It needs to defend itself. My issue is simply the hard hearted attitude of Christians toward fellow humans.
