Jesus paid the price for salvation which as we all know includes divine healing. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law.
By "His" stripes we are healed.
I'll never be able to fathom how someone would let men take them and beat them with whips, spit in their face, smack them around, mock them, make fun of them, while all along you would have the power to stop them and make them regret the evil they were doing to you, causing you pain and while they enjoyed their advantage over you.
Sound familiar, this is exactly what the Lord allowed to happen when He "allowed" men to crucify Him.
He paid the price so we could receive the blessing. Healing was part of that blessing. If He was willing to die to give us the blessing then we should be willing to receive all that He has for us.
Of course everyone is willing, but would we pay a price as He did?
I don't believe things just happen by random chance, God is in control more then what we realize.
Someone in this post mentioned a number of times concerning the tragedies that took place at FA. I could not help to think about the "tragedies" that took place with Job. He lost 10 children not just one, in fact he lost everything he owned.
Looking at Jobs life, we see the devil involved, God allowing certain things to take place, and the end result, restoration.
When reading some of the posts we see, diabetes as being the culprit in the example given. Zeke's child was ready to die if he did not rush out and get him to the doctor, while the elders prayed in another room.
Maybe this is not the best example, but the thing is God is still on His throne, the devil is still trying to attack mankind, especially those who claim to follow the Lord.
Every man has an appointed time to die. Can man change this appointed time? Is God really in control of mans destiny?
There's a lot of things to consider here. God is the one who gave us the promises and He is well able to make them good.
Just food for thought here, I mean if God can take a pile of dirt and create a complex human body, I would think that God is limitless in what He could do.

When looking at these verses that contain this Greek word, "Pharmakeus", we have to remember that its easy to take the Bible and pull out a verse or a word and to create a whole doctrine that does not exist or was never meant to be.
We can look back through scripture and know that God has made it clear that it is an abomination to be involved in witchcraft, and sorcery. This message is found all through the Bible.
Witchcraft and Sorcery are the fleshly road to evil, hell and the final death. This is what these verses are trying to say to us.
Medical science if anything is limited to what they can do because of the curse of the law that was placed on mankind. They may help to alleviate pain and suffering in their fellow man but to cure sickness and disease will never happen. Granted we do see more and more of the literal occult being used in the medical field. Yoga, hypnosis, other forms of hinduism and ayurvedic medicine to name a few.
With that I do believe the Lords way is far better, and I know He is for us and with a long life He will satisfy us and show us His salvation. He will be with us in our old age because He promised us He would be there. Its so much better to have our faith in the Lord then to put our confidence in men.
I don't believe the Bible was ever written so men could split hairs over one word or a verse. But we do have to realize that "God" is even greater then what we could ever imagine and that He is there for us and not against us.
The whole idea that there is a God who created everything is a fact we have to settle for all times. We are serving the Living God. Its almost hard to put into words the vastness of what is the reality of where we find ourselves.
This world is a temporary distraction, and its easy to have our eyes on it and our immediate surroundings, as Christians we have to make the effort to not become sluggish with the distraction but to press in for the pearl of great price.
Any way that's how I see it for now, the warfare is to fight the good fight and always follow hard after the Lord. Just one day at a time, the past is over and a new day awaits us.

To tell you the truth I find that Divine Healing is a Bible fact.
A.B. Simpson wrote: The healing power of Christ is dependent on our continual abiding in Him and, like all God's gifts, is renewed day by day.
Divine Healing is mentioned all through the Bible. As we abide in Christ we can have healing and health.
Someone mentioned the tragedies that took place with a few deaths, but when we take a serious look at medical science we can find there is a lot of major tragedies as well. Man's ways bring tragedies and people learn to just accept it, let a few tragedies happen in a church setting and it becomes major headlines.
The message of chastening, trials, falls by the wayside and we forget that health comes as our soul prospers.
The Living God is well able to take care of His people but are we willing to accept His chosen method.
Healing remained in the church for centuries and only disappeared gradually in the church's growing worldliness, corruption, formalism and unbelief. A lot of people will serve God but its always on our terms.
The Creator only deserves our total obedience on His terms since He is God.
If we take our minds outside of this realm and see God for who He really is, we would understand that He will do what He promised. He spoke everything into existence by faith. He came out from eternity and created us. The question would be are we willing to lay our lives down on what He says.
I don't know if our human brains can fully grasp God for who He is, we only know Him by what He has revealed in His word. Just the very word; "God", can only speak of His deity. While were just created beings.
This world and its ways is only a temporary reality that will one day end. If we could not find anything that speaks of healing in the Bible then we could say it was a strange doctrine being preached. But to the contrary we find it all through the scriptures and it "is" the children's bread.
