Hey, I have heard a few, but I was wondering if anyone has any other good stories of my parents, Glenn and Rebbecca (Romans) Stech. It would be wonderful to hear them. Thanks so much!

My wife and I were at a party at Herb's house just after your folks announced their engagement and of course everyone was in high spirits. Later in the evening Glenn and Herb were carrying on like a couple of drunks, blabbering in tongues and falling all over the place full of the spirit and the joy of the Lord. It was a hoot.

After everyone had eaten Glenn told us that one of the meats we had eaten was racoon. A bit of a shock to my New England wife's sensibilities, but it actually tasted pretty good.

Glenn was a wild young lion for God in those days.

Justin,
I remember that your dad, Glenn, had a car one time with a vinyl roof that was all torn up. He got numerous tubes of caulk and squeezed it all over the roof. He then took a big knife and spread all over like cake batter. One day, my dad asked him if that was caulk on his roof, and he told my dad that he was the only one who was able to figure out that was caulk. As I recall, it was a pretty good job. In those days, people didn't have a lot of money, so everyone made do with what they had.

Have a great day!
Duncan
